Readings and signings
My favorite reading from One Red Thread, on video
I return to this reading the way my protagonist Eddy returns to his past—often. It's a great scene that speaks to his character, the sense of place and family so strong in Southern fiction, the boyhood event that traumatized his Uncle Hugh, and how people perceive each other when time traveling.
The reading is only nine minutes, but there's a short intro and a longer Q&A, so the recording is in two segments: Part 1, with intro, reading and questions, is 20 minutes; Part 2, wrapping up the Q&A, is four minutes.
"... one of the best time travel stories of recent years."
